There is the very surprising absence of reduction given that the malo has, according to Rouget, not quite finished and that this had not been racked. A pretty and highly spiced red and black berry fruit nose merges into rich, full and intensely minerally middle weight flavors that possess good cut and definition on the refined and energetic finish. This has real verve with first rate transparency. Recommended.
